Week of Relaxing

The last week was amazing. I spent much of it with Sara, so that is a big reason why it has been so good. I actually ended up seeing her 7 days in a row. You'd think she'd be tired of me by now, but no, we are very happy together and have amazing chemistry. She met all my friends (most likely includes you the reader) on Saturday at the big moving out/term's over/hockey party and seemed to fit in really well.

I'm currently between school and my full-time summer job so thats why I had time to relax. I was able to go keep Sara company at her place in Maple Ridge and that was a lot of fun. My only real responsibility lately has been to work 8 hours a week as I had been throughout the term. Unfortunately my computer died which complicated things and caused me to have to travel into work. I also am now stressed out and excited with moving everything to my new place and cleaning this old place up. Q left this morning and he although he took everything out of his room he didn't even bother to clean his bathroom and didn't have time to help us clean!

I'm also about to switch jobs and I hope that goes ok. I've got a few goals for little bits of programming I want to get done with the old job before I switch to the new. The new job is working for a prof at school doing some programming for an artistic project. I would think it wouldn't have anything in common with the anesthesiologist work of my current boss, but no apparently the two are going to work on a project together! That threw me through a loop and I felt like I was in the twilight zone when I sat in on a meeting between the two. They didn't even meet through me, so it's all very coincidental. I decided I will work from home next week so that was actually my last shift at the hospital until September.

By my next post I should be living in my own place in my new basement suite in Fleetwood. You will all have to come visit me there.

Click

Today was amazing. Today I had an amazing date with a girl Sara that I met through my peer educator volunteer position and my role on the related radio show. Who says that volunteering doesn't pay off?

Now, the date might not sound that exciting but it's really the connection between the two people involved that matter. First we went to Whitespot, which is Sara's favourite restaurant and which I happened to pick without knowing that. Then I gave her a tour of our high tech campus and we chilled there for a little bit. Then she came over here and we played some video games. Geeky, I know.

Ok, so the description here is not that exciting, but believe me, it was amazing. We really clicked and I just know we'll see each other again soon. It wasn't your typical first date, as we had been talking a lot on MSN first (as some of you know), but we hadn't seen each other in person in a while.

This sounds like I'm writing in a diary. I wonder how that happened.
