People disolved

Last weekend was actually a little slower than most. I got together with some friends on Friday as we went to a charity dinner at Sasamat camp where the Afroman works. Someone at worked commented that I do a lot of charity work...which caused someone else to correct them "No, he doesn't...he just pays for a lot of stuff that goes to charity!" Meh...big difference.

The food was pretty good, and Rob fell in the lake. Which is to be expected.

On Saturday I actually didn't even leave the street. I just went down to my aunt and uncle's for my cousin's birthday party. Nothing exciting happened. That's right...NOTHING! whew...what a day.

On Sunday I went and tutored for 2 hours at the school. This time I was tutoring for MATH 12 instead of Calculus by although there is more I don't understand in Math 12 (they've changed it since I was in it) somehow I managed to do a much better job of tutoring at it. I call it luck.

On Sunday night, I went and saw X-men 3 finally...with someone else who mysteriously also had not seen it yet. That someone being Q. I believe we both thought it was alright, but not as good as the first two. Still a good movie to see in a theater rather than on a tv. Pretty cool effects including people disolving or whatever you want to call it. I'm sure you knew that though since pretty much EVERYONE saw the movie before we did. I forgot to watch the hidden scene after the credits damnit. Oh well.

I am going to count Monday as part of the weekend. Just cause Monday's usually suck but this one was fairly good. Oh sure, the Oiler's lost and the Stanley Cup went to Carolina, but it turned out, surprise surprise, that going to Rob's place to watch the hockey game was not all about the hockey game. In fact, you will be surprised to know, or not if you have any previous related knowledge, that most people showed up after the game finished. We also watched Mr. Show you see...as well as played some pool.
